The Avision AD340GN is a high-performance duplex document scanner that combines speed, flexibility and reliability. Built for business environments, it supports up to 40 ppm (pages per minute) in simplex mode and 80 ipm (images per minute) in duplex mode, making it ideal for bulk scanning tasks.
Thanks to its Contact Image Sensor (CIS) and high optical resolution of 600 dpi, the AD340GN delivers sharp and accurate scans, while its LED light source ensures low power consumption. The 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) supports a wide range of document weights (27 g/m² to 413 g/m²), including embossed plastic cards up to 1.25 mm thick.
A key feature is the ultrasonic multi-feed detection: the scanner can detect overlapping documents and prevent double feeds, but this function can be disabled for scanning items like sticky notes or taped receipts. For added convenience, it offers long‑page scanning mode, supporting documents up to 6,096 mm at low resolution.
The AD340GN features a 1.77″ color LCD screen with buttons that let you choose from up to nine preset scan destinations (e.g., email, printer, cloud or USB). Thanks to its network port, it can operate as a shared scanner in a LAN: different users can scan directly to their computers over the network.
Software included with the scanner includes Avision Button Manager V2, AVScan, and PaperPort, plus TWAIN and ISIS drivers for compatibility with a wide range of imaging applications. Its slim and space-saving design allows folding the input/output trays when not in use, reducing footprint and protecting against dust.
The AD340GN is built for durability: it has a recommended daily duty cycle of up to 8,000 pages, making it very suitable for office environments with a high workload.
