The Avision AD340GWN is a reliable, business-grade duplex document scanner built for high-volume scanning environments. With scan speeds of 40 pages per minute (ppm) or 80 images per minute (ipm) in duplex mode, it offers fast and efficient scanning for documents, business cards, plastic ID cards, and more.
Thanks to its 600 dpi optical resolution and a built-in CIS (Contact Image Sensor), the scanner delivers sharp, accurate images without needing warm-up time. It also includes ultrasonic multi-feed detection to prevent missed or double-feeds — a feature that can be disabled for scanning sticky notes or taped receipts.
The AD340GWN is network-ready: it comes with a Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing users to share the scanner across a LAN for centralized scanning. It also supports mobile scanning over Wi‑Fi via a built-in Wi‑Fi dongle: you can scan directly from your smartphone or tablet using Avision’s mobile app.
Operating the scanner is user-friendly — a 1.77″ color LCD panel with preset scan destinations (up to 9) lets users easily choose where to send their scans (e-mail, cloud, USB drive etc.). The input and output trays are foldable, helping save space and keeping the unit clean when not in use.
